I recently converted a Flyonel PA to TMCC using Carl Tuveson's MDB kit and the R2LC from Digital Dynamics.

All pictures below have hyperlinks to an 800 x 600 picture. To see the slightly larger version just click on any picture. Use your back button to return.

This is a picture of the MDB with the R2LC plugged in.

It is not much larger than the Lionel unit and bolts directly to the same location the heat sink attached for the stock reverse unit.

In this view you can see the R2LC just visible behind the MDB.

The Antenna is the loop of wire above the chassis at the right side of the picture.

This is a top side view showing the thickness of the MDB and R2LC combination.

I added to the existing wires so that the original reverse unit could be re-installed at a later time if I chose to convert back to original.

I used the switch out of Carl's kit because I didn't want to de-solder the original from the reverse unit circuit board.

The supplied switch is a bolt in replacement with no modification to the chassis necessary.
